Standardized Forms are Used in EDI Processes

One way how EDI or Electronic Data Interchange processes are different from standard types of electronic transmission processes comes from how EDI works with standardized forms. These include forms that have been set up with general set questions and entry forms in mind. The things that can be handled in one of these forms will be limited. This is used primarily for business purposes or order purposes in mind. The limited scope that an EDI form can work with will be used to make it so communications can be easily handled between two different parties that can use EDI services.
